As a public interest law solicitor, Muriel Moore has rooted her practice in a commitment to human rights. Muriel has worked extensively with individuals and families with special needs to promote their interests and secure their rights and entitlements concerning service providers and Government Departments. She has a special interest in protecting the rights of vulnerable people, empowering them to make their own decisions and obtain the services they need to live a full and rewarding life.
Throughout her career spanning two decades in the financial services and public sector industries, Muriel continuously seeks to challenge the status quo and advocate for positive change.
Whether private or institutional Clients, Muriel has provided bespoke legal advice and services to address the individual needs of her Clients. With clear, understandable solutions, focused advice and support throughout the sometimes complex legal process, Muriel’s priority is always the rights of the person, at the centre of a given situation.
Specialising in Decision-Making Support under the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act of 2023, Muriel works with individuals and families to help secure their rights. Where necessary, invoking Irish and international human rights mechanisms before the High Court and Supreme Court, the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
